• First thing that you need to determine is what are your actual needs? • Protection from the Sun + Rain. You need to check out what roof fabric will suit you best. You should always ask about what fabric is being offered for Canopies and whether it is Waterproof and UV Protected. There are many different fabrics on offer and if need be ask for a fabric swatch so that you truly understand what will be delivered.

• Deciding on what frame is best suited needs consideration. Once again a motor bike pit team will have different needs to a school looking for a Pop Up Gazebo for sports days.Ask about weight and construction as this is important. Aluminium will not rust but powder coated steel offers good value at very fair prices. Surf Lifesaving will only purchase aluminium frames as they are exposed to the sea air and run the risk of rust if they use steel.
   
• The frame construction is important. Square leg tubing is the traditional way that Instant Shade canopies have been manufactured. However, like any industry change is always taking place and Easyshade Marquees + Canopies researched what better alternatives were available to the consumer.The strength + Stability of the legs is very important so we chose a standard shape frame with hexagon ( 6 sided) shaped legs. Our leg design obviously covers a larger surface area and coupled with large metal feet the frame tends to have a lot of stability.
   
• What size, weight and aluminium thickness do I require? Once again it all comes down to where you are going to use your Gazebo. You need to determine what weight would suit you best so always ask your supplier what choices are available.One size does not satisfy everybodys needs.Many frames have had little refinement and are basically the same design and strength as they were when originally launched.We offer you the choice of 2 aluminium frames with different weights but same design.
   
• From our experience at Easyshade Marquees + Canopies our research showed that consumers were excited about the unique hexagon shaped legs ( size 48mm) that we offered but many felt that the weight of the frame was excessive for their particular requirements. The end result is that Easyshade now offer a choice of 2 Aluminium frames. The frames are exactly the same design and construction but the HEAVY DUTY SUPREME model is for heavy duty requirements and the EXECUTIVE Model offers a regular weight alternative. We are absolutely thrilled that having taken feed back from customers within a matter of approximately 5 months we were able to launch a new alternative frame. As we exclusively use a 48mm diameter hexagon shaped leg we retained this size leg for the EXECUTIVE model without having to compromise on leg size.We do not use the smaller 40mm size legs or smaller size cross bars.
   
• What other features are important to the frame construction and Strength? Once again when looking at the frame features we were aware that the cross bars were always under pressure and if they were too small in construction they tended to bend or break. The cross bars hold up the roof and if they are too flimsy there tends to be a lot of movement especially when the wind is blowing. Ask about the cross bar sizes and then compare.The same applies for the actual feet on each leg. Ask about the foot size and compare so that you can determine what suits your needs.A small size foot will not have the same foot print as our metal feet size 140 x 140
   
• There are so many different prices how do I know where to start? Once again you need to see what is on offer and compare like for like. List the features on offer and see what fits in with your budget. Price should be an important factor when purchasing but remember that many products in all industries are generally cheap for a reason. Good value for money is different from cheap. Ask questions, find out what is on offer and always be prepared to pay for good service and back up which is important.
